Posey gets first USAC win

Kipp Posey did just about everything possible to take all of the money at Rocky Mountain Raceways this weekend. On Friday night Posey took wins in the 250 Pro and Over 25 Pro classes at the Motocross track on his Kawasaki. Posey then won the AutoTrader Fast qualifier honors in Kerry Posey's Ford Focus Midget. Starting 7th in a 11 car field Posey moved to the front quickly passing polesitter Mark Miran on Lap 7. Posey cruised to a 2.3 second victory over points leader Tim Savage and Bob Brewer. The victory was the first for the Wysong Motorsports chassis brand. James Powell and Miran rounded out the top 5.

Heat race wins were taken by Savage followed by Brewer, and Cox followed by Groat
