Faccinto
returns to Focus series with a big win
Las Vegas,
Nev……..Despite
the thermometer reading of 121 degrees Tuesday
in
Las Vegas,
Michael Faccinto was even hotter at the Las
Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring, winning the
30-lap California Pavement/Utah developmental
Ford Focus feature in his K & N Engineering
Beast. Faccinto, last year’s National Ford Focus
Champion, took the lead from Nic Faas on lap
five and led the rest of the way to beat fast
qualifier Tom Dyer, Faas, Robby Josett and Beau
DeBard. The race was the first for Faccinto this
year! Dyer’s finish put him atop the new
California Pavement standings. Tim Savage, who
finished ninth, retained the
Utah
series lead.
