Bob Brewer of Murray, Utah topped the field for the victory on Saturday night at the Rocky Mountain Raceways season finale. The win was Brewer's second main event win of the 2007 season. Brewer passed James Powell and Jimmy Wysong on the 3rd Lap and  was only briefly challenged again following a Lap 4 restart. Two time Sprint Car Champions Wysong and Jim Waters were making their Midget debuts. Waters drove the Chuck Groat owned Beast to a 4th place finish. Caitlin Shaw finished in 3rd while Jeff Kelley rounded out the top 5.

A Lap 4 crash involved several cars including newly crowned Utah Ford Focus Series Champion Tim Savage and runner up Billy Cox. Savage suffered a concussion and a contusion to the right arm. Cox suffered multiple bruises but did not suffer a dislocated shoulder as initially reported. The Main Event was shortened to 15 laps due to time constraints resulting from the Lap 4 red flag period.

Kipp Posey picked up his third AutoTrader Fast Qualifier Trophy by establishing a new track record of 15.362, 87.879 mph. Heat Races were captured by Wysong and Savage
