Gordon Tyler

The face of Sprint Car racing in the Mountain Region for the past 20+ years, Gordon has "been there, done it" in racing. He grew up in Indiana and California in a racing family and never left the sport. Through the years Gordon has owned Silver Crown Cars, Sprint Cars, Super Modifieds and Midgets. He's served local and regional racing in every possible capacity including: car owner, announcer, chief steward and  SLVRA President. As a car owner Gordon has had a 20+ year relationship with former Indy car driver Kenny Hamilton.

Now retired, Gordon's professional career was in the electrical parts business. His company GT Sales, served as a Manufacturers Representative for many of the industry leaders including Carlon and Musco Lighting. Gordon's wife, Jackie, continues to tolerate his love affair for racing!
